you may be able to find some thing close at a junk yard,,,like out of a wagon or pick up with a verticle tube for a side quarter panel filler neck,,some guys i know used a tank out of a buick roadmaster wagon for a 40 plymouth,,but cars had the side fender axcess filler neck,,

is this the car that was at carlisle has a 318 magnum in it? i was talking to those guys for a while. i also saw the car at machungie a few weeks ago, but no one was around.
i just bought summits 16gal. pro street fuel cell for my 47 desoto. it doesnt have a filler neck on it though.

yes its a 1940 ply,,, with a 5.9 magnum,,home made efi controller,, i seen them at macungie also,,,,
