here is something to ponder, unless someone knows for sure. [i HOPE !]
the headlights on my wife's car, a '94 concorde, have had several polishings in their lifetime, and really should be replaced. i know 93-95 will work, but the 93's had no lines in the lense's, whereas 94's and 95's did . then, in 96 and 97, the lense's changed again to include a small section of flutes accross the bottom.
1998-2001 had a body change, and are altogether different.

so, the eleventybillion dollar question is this : would/does the 96-97 headlight assemblies physically fit where the 94-95 headlights go ?
i dinked around and missed a NOS pair of 94-95 assemblies on the bag, but the same vendor has a set of 96-97 assemblies that sure LOOK like they might be the same physical shape that would allow them to fit, even though the lense's are different.
anyone know for sure ?
i asked the vendor, but haven't gotten a response as of yet.
TIA as always !! up and i appreciate the help ! bow

The 96-97 hood have a different lower edge then the 93-95 hoods, which would lead one to believe the light itself has a different top shape. I believe the mounting brackets are different as well. Still might fit, but I wouldn't bet on it, but I've been wrong before. Gene

my buddy, who worked on those when they were new in a collision shop, said the 96-97's would work, even though there were slight differences in the hood and mounting brackets. chrysler called those headlights "high intensity" because they were a slight upgrade to the horrible lens those came with in 93.
anyone who has driven those cars at night know what i'm talking about !
anyway, i'm going to be the ginny pig. i'll report back my findings when they get here.

My parents had a 93 concord. Those headlights were terrible. I seem to recall a TSB with an upgraded part number. Been a long time since I though about that.

UPDATE

got the headlights the other day, and the 96-97 fit perfectly. there is a noticeable difference in brightness comparing the new to the old [the old ones are polished out, and are clear], but as to how they will work at night, i won't know until nice weather returns. this car doesn't get driven in the winter salt.
