Water spots in cylinders

Pulled a boo boo a couple years ago and left some water spots on 3 of my cylinders. Pulled the heads off and completetly forgot about some water that came out of the head when I took it off. I saw it the next day and it had left water spots in the cylinders where the rings were at the time. You cant feel the spots at all (no pitting), only see them. I highly doubt that rehoning will remove them. Will they cause any problems?
Also, the rings in 2 of the 3 cylinders have very light rust, nothing major, one swipe of steel wool will take it off.
The motor only has 45 mins of run time, so Id like to reuse everything, if possible.
Clean the rings and go or rehone and rering?

ceremic seal...that stuff worrys me.
after I broke in my big block, went to change the oil and it was like a milk shake.
pressurized radiator, and it held pressure fine--15psi overnight.
ran some ceremic seal, and all was well.
then it decided to NOT seal anymore after 200 street miles.
filled a cylinder with water, hydro locked it, bent a pushrod, tossed a lifter, lost oil pressure...
lucky all the bottom end parts survived and now have 3,000 miles on them. all it needed was a sleeve in 1 hole, new bearings/rings, and a new pushrod.

Ceramic seal "cured" it. Still runs the number. FYI this engine is pretty much at the "n'th" of being used up, and is really a bunch of old school junk so we really didn't have much to lose.
No, they arent that bad.
