I purchased the Indy EZ heads at the Indy show and am starting on my 440 build.. I am on a very low budget due to other financial issues. So We pulled apart motor and looks like bearings were replace recently.. so those are good.. It has factory bore size 4.32.. I have a few questions. What type of cyl head gasket and who? Use studs or bolts for heads? and what cam u think I should run??? alum intake and demon carb with headers also 1.6 roller rockers. my cam selections were- XE284H or Mopar performance 509 purpleshaft. or Lunati Voodoo 226/234 @.50 .494/.513 lift. any help would be awesome.. thanks

Head bolts are fine if you're just putting it together once and running it. Studs are nice if the heads are going to be off and on a lot. You need special head bolts for the Indy heads since two bolts on each side are longer. Manley or ARP have the correct bolts.

Head gaskets vary a lot in price. I always use Cometic gaskets with aluminum heads but they are expensive, about $150 a pair. You might be able to get buy with the cheap paper type gaskets but beware of the bore size issue. If the heads are ported you'll need big bore head gaskets. The cheapo FelPro head gaskets don't fit a lot of heads so if you try to go that way double check the gasket against the combustion chamber.
