Johnson was a consultant for both JFR and Salinas last year. However if you read between the lines it does give the impression that Johnson is out also. He certainly would not be needed if Grubnec is working for JFR as rumored.

The Stringer team was absorbed by a conglomerate that kept Millican, promptly kicked out Grubnick and the crew that got them to 3rd in points with a single car team on a budget, and hired Mike Kloeber, who while having some past success, hadn't worked in NHRA since 2014. It's called "Silly Season" for a reason. If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

He only has 1 kid who still wants to drive. And he won't be driving much longer. Hight will remain. I believe developing Prock's son was part of the deal with Jimmy Prock, and he likes to keep everything in the family. Just as he did with the Medlins. If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
