She says she's coming back but I doubt it. Ashley Force is still not back. I'm sure the sponsors who bought the next generation crap are thrilled.

Baby-on-Board Soon?? Great racer, she brought a lot of female fans into drag racing the last several years. My first thought too.

When you figure out how a woman thinks or why they do the things they do, you let us know. Rumor is Monster is gone from the dragster and Advance is moving over there. Austin Prock may get the Funny Car ride. Or they may put Denso on one of them. Or they may park it. Who knows?

There is no doubt that nitro racing is a very dangerous business. Maybe her self preservation instincts kicked in, maybe looked into her future and wants to make sure she has a future, and kids and all that stuff.

With Alan Johnson leaving Brittany’s top fuel car she’ll have another down year too. I agree with others that Mr. and Mrs Rahal are probably planning on starting a family. Where did you see that Alan Johnson is leaving Force? I have seen some rumors that David Grubnic would be working on the dragster but that was quite a while ago and no announcements yet.

Grubnic and crew are supposed to be in the building with an announcement being held up by legal snafus.

I would imagine Rahal had something to do with this...between two different racing series not much time together. Think all the Force girls will be done within another year...with Alan Johnson leaving Brittany’s top fuel car she’ll have another down year too. DSR has prevailed in their death lock. Not so sure. The Grubnic tuned car finished well ahead of the JFR dragster. With a much smaller budget I might add.

Really more about Brian Husen than Alan Johnson. Johnson was a consultant for both JFR and Salinas last year. However if you read between the lines it does give the impression that Johnson is out also. He certainly would not be needed if Grubnec is working for JFR as rumored.

It was announced quite a while ago that Mike Kobler would be Millican's crew chief. The Stringer team was absorbed by a conglomerate that kept Millican, promptly kicked out Grubnick and the crew that got them to 3rd in points with a single car team on a budget, and hired Mike Kloeber, who while having some past success, hadn't worked in NHRA since 2014. It's called "Silly Season" for a reason.

http://www.competitionplus.com/drag-raci...n-of-change-jfrJF says his company is set up to run 4 teams. He only has 1 kid who still wants to drive. And he won't be driving much longer. Hight will remain. I believe developing Prock's son was part of the deal with Jimmy Prock, and he likes to keep everything in the family. Just as he did with the Medlins.
