Does anyone have any additional specs or information for a purple solid cam P4529344? I think the following information is correct 296 at .572"/.557" on 102 degree CL

In the 2001 catalog it’s listed as 296/298, 572/557, 104cl.

If you really want to know the actual specs, and how it compares to the rest of the cam world, you have to put it in the motor and plot it out.

Does your catalog show lash setting? I am torn between using this cam that I already have new sittin in the box and that will work with my Isky valve springs or changing springs and buying a larger cam that was recommended buy a custom cam grinder. It wouldn’t bother me but I just put the Isky springs in, I guess I could always sell them with my iron heads...

Cam# C426Hemi, FM79378-81387-112
260/266 @.050"
.378"/.387" Lobe Lift (stock Rocker Ratio is 1.57/1.52)
112 LSA

My book says .028-.030 but there is NO way I'd lash that thing that loose. It will just beat itself silly. That's just too loose. I'd do .020-.022 if it's and iron/iron deal. And I'd do .018/.020 if you use aluminum heads.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

That is what I was thinking.... My car already makes enough noise without the valve train sounding like a bunch of skeletons getting it on. Mike Jones ground my last cam so I’m really leaning toward getting him to grind another cam for me. His cam profiles run a tighter lash and the wider LSA will give a better vacuum signal.
