Does your front cover for a Big Block accept a stock seal(yes it does), AND can it be made to accept the seal that comes in a Jesel Belt drive?

The reason I ask is , im cheap, and the stock seal gives up at 10-13" of pan vac, not allowing a lot of pan vac.

I know eventually im going to just buy the Jesel Belt drive, but I figured I would ask

You can buy a high vacuum R3 seal from the NASCAR boys but they aren't cheap. Actually being cheap and running high vacuum don't go together so I don't think you'll get far with that approach!

N20mstr, I believe i am even cheaper then you. LOL I filled in the back side of the seal with RTV and let it dry before putting it on. I idle with 12 inches and launch with 16. This is using a old Moroso 3 vane pump (not the enhanced) .
I do use a one piece seal for the rear.

edit: thinking about it, this seal may have 2 springs (old and new) and the RTV.

Joe
