I live near Columbus Ohio an want to have my 440 block bores sonic tested. I have done internet searches and come up blank. Anyone know where I can get sonic testing local?

Whatever machine shop you plan to use should be able to sonic test it.

I think some of yall take for granted just how few people use sonic testers anymore.

I found ONE machine shop/engine builder in the state who had one after calling a bunch of em. PAR, Gene Fulton, Buck, and several other well known local shops did not have one.
Found one at a builder that does a lot of roundy round engines, said he rarely uses it on stock cast heads.

I called Fowler. clean, sonic check, bore and finish hone right at $475

FYI- I had Fowler do some work on an intake for me a few years ago; just had them open up a stock intake with a vertical mill. They were easy to deal with and reasonably priced.
