Can someone comment on the figment and accuracy of the latest AMD valve covers?
Specifically for a 1970 big block.

I've used several pairs of the 69 and 70 HP AMD Bblk and they fit rather nicely with no issues, the details on the 70 year only (early 71) covers are very accurate, as far as the oil cap "correctness" for the 70 it is however close, but no cigar (unless the tooling has been changed as of late?)

I would recommend if you buy a set, buy directly from AMD, as some vendors/Ebay sales may have some of the "old" stock which was supposedly recalled which did have fitment issues

Ive used a set of 70 bb also. I thought they were pretty good for repro. Summit or Jegs will also have the latest. Their return policy is great. The first set I got fit good, just that one of the wire retainers was missing on the pass side. Jegs took it back no problem and sent me another set that was fine. Check for fit before painting them.

I don't know what happened but I got a set of BB covers drop shipped from AMD and the bolt holes where bad, real bad, not centered and you could not use them. I sent them back and will repaired my original ones.
