71 Super Bee that I took apart in March and finally got back to. I painted engine compartment and the engine. I have one more hole next to booster opening that I can't remember what to put in it??? Do I have all the other's in the right places also? Getting old is harder than I thought!! Car is LA build non A/C 383 4 speed with a clock but previous owner did add Tach but I believe that goes through bulkhead. Can't imagine I never noticed this hole open before. Thanks in Advance and stay young!!!
Ron

Just noticed you have two extra holes, one has a flat bottom, what is that for? Does it look factory? I have a picture of a Cuda firewall and that hole was used for the roadlamp harness. I have no idea if that was even an option on 71B's

Just noticed you have two extra holes, one has a flat bottom, what is that for? Does it look factory? I have a picture of a Cuda firewall and that hole was used for the roadlamp harness. I have no idea if that was even an option on 71B's There is just one extra hole, the one that looks like it has a flat bottom but is paint buildup from behind. That's the hole I am speaking of, left of booster and right of fuse block nut. I now fully believe it was there and just behind booster. I have nothing left to put there except for a plug. Previous owner had put a reproduction tach in but it is spoken for through the harness. I had put all my parts as I removed them in the trunk and the trunk is now empty aside from aircleaner assembly and wipers... speedo cable is in clutch interlock in hood release in hidden headlights in dash reverse light in back up lights in clutch rod in 1"rubber plug near fender in Ram Charger lines in (passenger side) NO cruise control Must need a rubber plug at this point that would be hidden behind booster. On my 71 high option Charger r/t that hole was used for the cruse control and maybe at one time your car had one ? Maybe a factory mistake ?? Dealer installed ? Who knows , but Im 100% shure it was the cruse control . I fully believe you are right but I also believe a previous owner did this by mistake. Car doesn't have cruise control. The reason I never knew about this hole is that I just discovered that the booster backing plate fully covered it!!! I put a plug in it and now when everything is back on it is covered and sealed!! ***** I will start a new post about the backing plate to see if I have the correct one for my application. I want to thank everyone for the help. Ron
