I was looking online at shocks and was siding with Strange products. On their site, with the part number it states for what car I have, the extended dimension is 22.24 inches. Is this enough extension for a shock on an E body?? I thought it was around 24 or 25". I'd like to upgrade my suspension with a pretty good shock and a set of Cal-tracs this coming year to get my 60' down some without taking the drivability out of it.

The issue is that the stock shock mounts at a steep angle. This requires a shock with even greater travel. My son uses Afco's with 7" of travel with his Cal Tracks.

Strange will build whatever you want for the same price that they sell off the shelf shocks for. You can get whatever travel you want that way.

I agree with calling Strange, they love to help.
