the good doctor won't sell cheaper parts just because they are cheap. buying from the doc will guarantee the best bang for the buck. you can find cheaper parts elsewhere, but do you want to do this job over just because you saved $10 elsewhere ? just my opinion dealing with the doc before.

Seems like it would be obvious that I was not able to find another source on google before asking here. I bet you can't either. Nice attitude.

You want to undercut a site vendor with an excellent reputation do it yourself.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

I am trying to do some shopping for the SureGrip 8.75 differential, I am in need of new spider gears.
I see Dr. Diff has the internals for $175, which seems reasonable, but I'd like to find another source to just double-check the cost is the going rate for these parts.
Nothing against Dr. Diff, I just like to avoid buying something without shopping pricing, if I can. I'm pretty confident that Dr Diff is about your only source for those components being offered separately, Cass's prices are more than fair on his entire line of driveline offerings

No Kidding, But what would you expect from one that tries to save a nickel by undercutting an individual who has contributed a wealth of knowledge and help to the people on this site. 793 posts since 05 ? I hope the good Doc puts the screws to this guy and jacks the price up 50.00 or so LOL

I don't see anything wrong on search for another source for price comparison. Is not saying anything wrong about Doc, and I see a right answer for the google search suggestion, since is true, google doesn't float anything on this specific topic. If you will suggest some website or search, is because you already got success where the OP didn't and really try to help, if not, better don't reply like making bullying about the request. He just made the "challenge" on the search with that suggestion.
Being old timer or a "big poster account" doesn't give more or less credit to provide certain answers.
My 2 cents.
