Stanton Don't question me! S Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 8,870 Ontario, Canada	The only thing holding the shaft in position is the snap ring on the top bearing. There is enough slop everywhere else for that shaft to move up in the column if that snap ring has somehow broken or come out.
