Hope everything rocks. It'll be interesting to see. -1 heads, 2.25 int valve, same; cubic inch, int duration, lift at the valve, lobe separation, 15-1 flat top. 2 750 Eddy's, Indy cross ram. Obviously way different intake and carb, and iron block vs aluminum. Never dynoed mine. 9.0@150,3345#1500D/A Doug

One of the ones I did was 14:1, cnc345’s(which flowed exactly the same on a 4.375 and 4.500 bore........385-ish), 1.7 rockers, 282/282-110 .460/.460(not the cam that was intended for this motor, but that’s a whole nuther story)made about 875hp with a port matched 440-2/w-4150-4500 adapter and an hp1150. The motor was going to be run with the Indy TR and 2x750’s, and I wanted to see what it was worth. Mild port match only...... it made 911hp with the TR/2x750 combo. 9.07@145, 3660lbs.
A subsequent cam swap and 2x 1050 4500’s netted a 2mph gain, but no better on the ET.
Of course........ dynos vary like crazy(and every dyno service will tell you how stingy their dyno is) so there’s no telling what kind of numbers you’ll end up with.
The main thing I like to do is make sure the timing and carb are dialed in.

Funny you say that. I was already told the dyno is very tight. I just hope for healthy motor after the dyno session and well 850hp would be nice too😁. The dyno shop is Cunningham competition in southern jersey. I’ll be sure to update you guys once I have the numbers. I'll guess based on that build you should get around 925 HP.

Nice Combo! Should be 900+ easily.
Fast69plymouth comments were interesting on the lack of ET gain with 2 Dominator's. My setup current runs two 750's and have been throwing the idea around of swapping them out for two 1050 Dominator carbs.
Interesting note, the 750's were Fast68Pymouth's dyno mules about 10 years ago and have served me well.

Assuming the flow numbers can be compared to what I get from the cnc345’s(meaning, the OP’s heads are better), the extra point of CR, the higher lift, and the 3x manifold....... I’d say it “should” be really close to 900hp with appropriately sized headers.
Good candidate for a Q16 test as well.

With an expectation of 850hp you will be VERY happy!!Dialing in SV1s are a bit of a chore to get right but they work well.
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

I tried 2 Quickfuel Holleys vs my box stock Eddy 750's. Maybe 1 mph but no ET improvement. Doug Can you jet either set of carbs up rich enough to slow the MPH down in the 1/4 mile? If you can your at the best setup for your motor If not maybe you should try that next What sizes are the Quickfuel carbs ?

Good candidate for a Q16 test as well. Yeah an engine like that would probably pick up 25 or 30 hp with Q16 if you're willing to put up with the cost and the nasty side effects.

I like trying it on that type of motor so you know: - if it’s worth anything, and how much - that you have the jetting and timing for it dialed in, in case you’d like to try it on some killer day when you’re trying for a new “best” at the track.
