Once I get the heads back, I'll measure the valves. The ones in the extra set seemed pretty new, and they were smaller than in the other set.

The Manley 11223 is a 6.7" long "blank" with a 2.060" head for extreme duty exhaust use.

It is machined to the desired diameter, length, and groove configuration as needed.

Lash caps not required.

So I am assuming I would have to call Manley and they would make the exhausts if I wanted new? Is this a stainless blank? thanks Birdtracker

No. Not stainless. Inconel. The stuff high temp smoke stacks are lined with, and turbine wheels in turbochargers are made of.

SSI has blanks up to 7” we have contacted them about valves they will do a minimum order of 8. I had to contact them because I have 7 new stainless 1.75 x 6.90 that I am replacing my titanium ones with. My buddy is thinking about going bigger valve so I am going to get his 1.75 so I will have a set with extras, I would sell the titanium valves but as I said I have no idea on the history of them. After the Fins problems I am shying away from them

Now ti seems that since we had pretty much material from the trip, they are going to make a 10 episode series of our trip in a national channel. The only difficulty I can see with it is, that they can't show any people smoking or drinking alcohol, the politics of the channel. I think there is a chance to see it in the net too, but of course it's mainly in Finnish at least the first episode which I have seen a part of.
