Ok, the trans is built and the valve body modified with a Fairbanks shift kit which looks to be the same as as a B&M and a TCI kit. The plan is to go full manual so I've done all the mods to suit but the instructions are a little vague on how to set up throttle pressure valve. I know with the Transgo kit it gets you tie back the kickdown to get full pressure on shifts but not sure about the Fairbanks set up.

I have installed the red spring and the throttle valve protrudes out a fair bit. This is how i have it set up at the moment.

Do you intend to run TP linkage? If so, set an air gap of around .200" between the cam and the tip of the valve. If not, you'll have to tie the lever back.

No Throttle Pressure Linkage. I thought that would be the case with tying back the lever.

I bought a pressure gauge to measure the line pressure when its installed and running, any idea on what it should read with the ever all the way back?

Thanks again John. Where would we be without you!
