My newly purchased 1970 U-code Cuda has its original intake and Carter AVS carb. However, it is missing the correct throttle return spring and kickdown spring. I have looked online. For the throttle, some vendors offer a 33 coil and others a 45 coil spring. I have found one version of the kickdown spring and am unsure if it is correct. The only reference I have is the article by Tom Shaw at Hot Rod magazine. It features an un-restored 68 GTX with a 440: https://www.hotrod.com/articles/engine-details/. Would a 68 and 70 440 have the same springs? I have attached two pictures of my Cuda. The third picture is the from the Hot Rod article showing the linkage and springs on the 68 GTX.

On my 70 440 GTX which is completely original I first had the 45 coil throttle return spring. It did not have enough pressure to pull the throttle closed. I switched to the green 33 coil spring and the problem was solved. You have the three piece transmission kick down so the type of spring pictured on the GTX is correct. Cool looking project.
