So what I'm hearing is solid on both sides shouldn't be too much of a problem. I will probably do that, worst case I could easily swap the pass side back out if necessary.

The 2 mounts serve different purposes, and are subject to opposite forces.

well the op ask for a STREET car that only see track ocasinaly !

and yes cheep hardware store chain and i bolts can strech !

now get a piece of G7 chain and equil eye bolt and have a small amount of movement that does not transmit vibrations to car from solid strap for a STREET car and have best of both worlds !

I'd use solid mounts. The vibration doesn't bother me.
If you're worried about it, use stock mounts and get the torque strap from Schumacher Creative Services. I have one on my dad's six pack road runner and it works great.

I bought a set of the interlocking Poly mounts. They are expensive, so I just used one each on the drivers side mount of my two cars, and run good quality stock replacements on the passenger side.
