Hi John, Do you have a limit on horsepower for this transmission? Thank you for helping out the Gen 3 guys. Diesel trucks with the basically the same trans 48REs are making 1500 plus HP in 4-5000 lbs trucks.

Is this the same trans for $4350?
A turbocharged gen III hemi is in the future for my Dart. I never really paid a lot of attention to the transmission aspect as of yet. Would love to have an overdrive transmission, but I always thought that overdrive transmissions would not be able to allow high stall converters, am I correct on this assumption?
I don't know what the difference between the 518 and 48RE are. Which vehicles had these transmissions as all I have are 904s and 727s.
I watched that shifter video, interesting, I like that.

Than you john for thinking of us G3 guys, Chris and Keith love their 518 Valve bodies.

Are you doing anything with the Nag1? not now is it something you're thinking about? I know the 1 guy has an independent controller and the LX guys have people who build strength into them, but always nice to have the guys 'we know' working on this stuff.

Had an issue when it was first installed but John went above and beyond getting it fixed and back on the road. Having all 4 forward gears on the stick makes for an awesome street ride, just one less electric switch to deal with
