Anyone have any recommendations for a quality replacement set of pulleys for my 5.9?
Jumped in this morning and the squeaking about woke the neighbors.
I just turned 113,000 miles this week, so I suppose it was about time.

Can’t beat their prices, just wondering which brand is better than the other.

You can get the OE Cummins one for $150 from various vendors.

The Gates unit doesn’t look too bad and is $100 cheaper.

I’ve had the am squeal myself, although hitting the belt with a stiff wire brush knocks the dust off it and it’ll be quiet for months. I can see that the belt is starting to ride toward the edge of the pulley, so it’s time.

...just hoping changing the tension won’t invite the water pump to fail

Turns out a stiff brush killed the squeak. I ordered a new continental elite belt to replace the original. I’m on my second water pump as of 2017 lol
