No closeups, but maybe these somewhat dated pics will help.
These pics were taken in July 2009. I'm guessing this event was at Joliet Il., but not sure. jeeez, time flies.

I always liked that he left the car a '74 instead of cloning a '70. punkrocka

'72, actually. It's not the first one, either since IIRC in the mid '90s he wadded up the original and replaced the car with another '72. This was back when he was racing the Outlaw Super Stock series in the Midwest, and it was a B1 head + N2O single Dominator combination. Yeah, waaaaay back... when it was still a back-half street car deal, not a twin-turbo chassis car.

I saw him run up at Byron when it was a nitrous car. If it made it to the other end without eating itself it was a rocket.

Funny thing... look at pics of 1968 Shelby GT500s... it's almost the identical grill. So how come on a classic like that, it works, but on a '72-4 Challenger all I want to do is paint the whole thing black and hide it?

Oh, not sure how old the vid of his pass is, but that car wasn't working very well. You can't steer it when the front tires are still bouncing off the track at the 330 mark. Did he ever get it lined out?
