Our group wasn't the only guys who brought trucks out to play...

Didn't get many car show pics, but it looked like a nice group.

Dale swapped converters in the Gremlin, and also changed front shocks and springs. He was rewarded with a new best of 8.54-158. Then he added a fresh nitrous bottle and proceeded to do this...

It bounced back up twice after coming back to earth from the initial wheelie, something he hadn't experienced before, and he unfortunately scraped the wall before gathering it up.
He decided to dial 8.85, since he didn't know what to expect. First round, he got completely out of it past half track, and coasted to a win with an 8.94-105. When he checked his 1/8 mile clocking, it was 5.38-132...a full tenth quicker and 3 mph faster than his 8.54 best earlier.
If the tires look a little lost in the wheel well, it's because they are only 28 X 10.5, since he's been doing some small tire racing.

Anyone know the story on this killer little 64? The Valiant belongs to a friend of mine. Runs a big B1 engine with a glide. Lost a bearing Saturday morning on a 9.20 pass. It will run a lot quicker than that.

They did have some good photography coming from that event. Agreed, Most tracks are lucky to have one photographer, let alone three!

What did the timeslips show for the Demons? I don't remember actual times, but the red Demon was dialed 10.15 and the blue Demon was dialed 10.45 the one round I noticed. I am pretty sure the red Demon was a single seat car, don't know about the blue one.

Farmboy, I think the white one was a widebody HellCat, but I'm no expert on new Challengers...

Thought there was a white Demon that made a pass right ahead of me. Seems like it ran a 11.0 I don't remember any white Demons there. From the back the white Hellcat that Billy posted looks pretty much the same as a Demon.

Nothing like a serious hit of nitrous right at the jump to put some twist in the old d-100 frame!
