What cam are you running? What fuel?
The plastic one keeps the air a lot cooler also so it works better with pump gas and high compression. Unless I was running a real big cam I would keep the plastic one for the cooler air and longer TQ oriented runners.
I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

Really great looking parts. Nice to see somebody (anybody) working on this stuff, still. Back when I had the opportunity, I collected the granddaddy, the 392 crate motor carbureted intake, which had quite a story behind it.
I've been letting alot of pieces go lately, but that one is not for sale.

Just getting into this Gen 3 stuff, and bought the last EFI version of the Prefix manifold. Wow, yes, very expensive. My wallet just got it's ass handed to it.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? When they went 298 @ .600" in OE form, I became a G3 believer!
