If I floor my t/a in 3rd it will not kick down. How can I fix?

How fast are you going? Is the “kick down” linkage attached and adjusted? Stock carb? Auto shift trans?

Make sure WOT at the pedal is WOT at the carb and the transmission lever.

IOW, have somebody sit in the car and floor the pedal then, from under the hood, push back on the carb lever to see if it's at WOT and then push back on the trans linkage to see if the lever is near full back.
