will i have any problems running a set of 915 heads on a 400 block from the early 70's? the block and all internals are factory specs. and will the cup style push rods for the 915 heads work in the 400 block? any info will help. thanks guys.

the 915's will give you some extra compression. Not sure wht you mean by cup push-rods. 66-67 440's used a tappered push rod-lifter design so they will not work w/ 68-up cam/lifter packages. No big deal a set of new Push rods is like $32 form summit. what other upgrades?

915's were only installed on 440's originally so NO the pushrods you have if off a 440 wil NOT work because they will be to long .

no upgrades to bottom end. 60303 voodoo cam, eddy performer intake, eddy 750 carb on top. as far as the push rods go, i just figured that one out myself.

get a set of steel shim head gaskets to match your originals & you're all set. I missed the pushrod length deal also
