71scamp440 OP Hinged Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 417 jamestown, ny	will i have any problems running a set of 915 heads on a 400 block from the early 70's? the block and all internals are factory specs. and will the cup style push rods for the 915 heads work in the 400 block? any info will help. thanks guys. 71 scamp big block with 915 heads 727 trans

Not sure wht you mean by cup push-rods. 66-67 440's used a tappered push rod-lifter design so they will not work w/ 68-up cam/lifter packages. No big deal a set of new Push rods is like $32 form summit. what other upgrades?
