Thanks. I closed out my credit cards when the banks all started doubling and tripling my interest rates - FOR NO REASON. I called them and asked why they were raising my interest rates even though I have never been late and always pay more than the minimum? Their answer was - new policy if you don't like it you can close the account and the interest rate will stay the same while you pay it off BUT DON'T BE LATE or it will jump up to the new interest rate. Needless to say I closed them all and now I just use a debit card and "pay as I go". Gee, what a novel idea why hasn't our government thought of doing that?

Started on the headliner installation. First I had to make some new sail panel boards as the old ones were pretty nasty. Bought the material from a local auto upholstery shop for $3. Next I glued in the headliner insulation kit: Put the bows in and installed the headliner: Tugged, pulled, clamped and glued my way to here: It would have helped to have the rear glass out since reaching the lower sail panel gripper teeth was not an easy thing to do. I still have some wrinkles that I am not happy about but hope that some heat may remove them.

I decided to go more for sound dampening than the sound deadening route. Most if not all of the commercial dampening material has butyl tape for its foundation with aluminum foil attached. They may put a layer of 3/16" closed cell foam or similar over that. I opted to purchase this 20 mil butly tape instead of a brand name product since it was way less money. Bought a case of 12 rolls for about 1/2 of what it would have cost me to do 1 side with the brand name products. Put 2 layers on the firewall and front floor areas and 3 layers on the tunnel hump area and only used 2 1/2 rolls so I have plenty left for doors and rear quarter areas.
