I thought that the 270 heads could use any B engine rocker. My Harland Sharp 1.5 (part #S70015K)body hits the spring. Id have to grind a whole crap load of aluminum off to get them to fit. I see Summit list a rocker specific to the Trick Flow heads. I really don't want to spend the $950.00 for those specific rockers unless I have to. Any other less expensive rockers? The springs on my heads are the maxed out package for 700 lift. the TF specific rockers are the ones to get if you want rockers that fit anything close to right for the money, there are others but you will need to dig alot deeper into your wallet.

How old are your current HS rockers?
Many years ago HS changed the valve spring relief cut, with the newer version having more clearance.
The only reason I know this is because a customer bought a used set to run on some Indy SR’s. With a 1.55 spring there was interference........ and usually even a 1.625 spring clears fine.
After some pics being taken and comparing to some I had here it was obvious there was a design change at some point.
That being said, the std HS rockers are slightly too long to have the roller centered on the valve. The heads were designed to use the HS “E” series rockers.

Talk to Mike@ B3 racing, his correction moves the rocker away from the spring.
