Do I need to install the clutch return spring if I have a diaphragm pressure plate clutch?

The big over center spring? No. The much smaller return spring under the car down by the clutch fork? Yes.

No.Most mfgs recommending removing it.I take it youare asking about the large over center spring.Mines been gone for 20 years with my CF clutch.Just the return spring that is used on the fork is all I have.Rocky
