Someone put aftermarket throttle and kickdown linkage on my 67 GTX. I do have the original linkage though which I plan to put back on. The throttle & kickdown linkage were painted black but the paint was flaking off so I media blasted all of it and am ready to repaint. I'd like to know what color it should be. Black, silver? If it was plated from the factory I am not going to go to the extent of having it all replated. Just want to know what colors the various pieces should be and I will paint them accordingly.

Isn't the throttle bracket painted on the engine? It will be engine color.

The throttle bracket and bell crank at the back of the engine where the kickdown rod attaches is painted engine color. As far as the rest of the linkage goes, they were left natural.
