Went to the machine shop with my Trick Flows to check them before I bolted them on.
Guide/stem clearances were perfect. My guy wasn't too happy with the preservative they put on the valve stems. With the springs removed they required more effort to move the valves up and down the guides than he liked. We all understand this is done to prevent rust while these heads sit in a warehouse, garage, work bench etc! Quick clean up of guides, stems and some assembly lube and we were good.
Installed heights were close. We found them all between 1.90 and 2.05. We played with the cups and got them all between 1.95 and 2.05.
Coil bind was around .725 so I am good.
Looking forward to seeing how well this 520 runs.
