I have a 2018 Challenger TA 392 6speed and I wanted to know how hard it is to install a pistol grip shifter in it.Is it something i can do or better to take it to the dealer?I'M going to get custom grips but where would be the best place to get the handle?THANK YOU!!!! David

I bought a pistol grip shifter kit from Gunslinger for my '09 some years back and it was simple to install. It included instructions and probably didn't take much over 10 minutes to do following their guidance.
IIRC Gunslinger got bought out by Brewers and Brewers would be the ones to buy these from now.
This was just a vintage look shifter lever/handle kit I bought. There was/is a short throw kit that I often wish I'd gotten instead, and I'm sure that is much more involved to install as it involves replacing the linkage.
But the handle/lever part itself is easy, assuming nothing much has changed on with Challenger shifters since 2010.
