Courtesy light, map light harness. Both pink wires will piggyback onto the other pink wires on the back of the fusebox. The yellow flat terminal on the lower left go to the maplight switch. Yellow wire on the upper right goes to the "split" on the door "button". Second yellow on the lower left goes to the other door button. So look at new pic please,,, the pig tail I believe connects to pig tail off fuse box which ohm out to the 2 door switch's... just the flat connector..? Not sure what courtesy light is...?

Courtesy light is the light over your head. Correct my wiring answer to read that the flat terminal goes to the light mounted over the ignition switch.

Confused... light over head is dome light...right.. different connector on the left side...

Confused... light over head is dome light...right.. different connector on the left side... There is a button/switch inside the door opening at the front of the door. The dome/courtesy light runs to these switches. The delay harness plugs into the switches also. Yellow wires will all hook together under the dash and behind the kick panels.

OK, I'm missing something. Isn't that the wiring associated with the timing delay relay? Where you turn the key off & the lights stay on for a little bit?

The timer you show in the pic controls the key lite in the steering column. The time delay relay for the headlites mounts on top of the glovebox liner and uses a separate wiring harness,I didn't see that harness in any of the pics you posted.

Well the one I show was up above the glovebox..attached to the map light... now I am confused....

Wow! Now I'm confused too!!! First, I have to say that my car was ULTRA rough when I bought it with nothing working so it's not a good example of what was original.
OK, on my 70 RR with the "light group" package/option I have a piece that looks just like your picture (small silver cylinder about 1-1/2" long) which was just hanging loose under the dash, sort of near the center (just above my console, driver's side slightly). I "thought" that was the light time delay relay.
Also on my car, I had a box about 3"x3"x2" or so with several wires going to it that was mounted on top of my glove box (actually had screws/clips going into the cardboard). That piece looks to have been original. My car came with an AM/8-track originally & looking at the wires, this "box" appeared to be some type of radio speaker cross-over or something like that. My car did come with one center speaker + two more on either side of the top of the dash.
I don't mean to hijack this thread (sorry).....but I am ALL EARS watching to see how this turns out.

The silver cylinder pictured is the key-in lite thermal time delay relay. It is usually taped to the dash harness to the right of the steering column. PurpleBeeper, the silver box that your describing is the radio cross-over,only used on AM-8track cars and is mounted on top of the glove box liner. If your car had the head lamp delay option it would have this relay https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-MOPAR-1970-B-BODY-HEADLAMP-DELAY-RELAY/232812326676? This relay is also mounted on top of the glove box liner. This is not part of the AO1 lite pkg,it is a separate option and kind of rare in a B-Body.It uses a serarate harness that I don't see in any of the pictures that are posted.

This is great.... Mine was also rough...as in boxes...
The one I show was attached to the map light.. so above the glove box..
I really want to get this right.. dont want to have to pull dash...again...
Would more pictures help of What I have...?? New YO harness... and have my old one as well... pretty close... some extra connectors which I am told are normal since its a "all model" harness...

My car had this on it. But it was removed prior to my acquiring the car. I was told the relay mounts on the driver's side behind the kick-panel. But on the other hand, there is a ground wire attached to my relay to ground the relay if it is not attached to a metal surface. ????
