heres the black mirror i was telling you about. you can see your intake cleaned and ready to coat to compare the color. Silver Base / Black Mirror / 95 % Clear another thought  do them in Black Wrinkle and set them up in the mill and mill down .050 or so to just clean up the high spots. like the mopar black valve covers   Bondo

Looks good  ! Go ahead and coat the intake and valve covers in black chrome, you don't need to ship me a sample, and I'll just grab the parts from you next weekend when you and Rick and I go to the Bristol Nascar race.

That's just how I did mine, painted it same blue as the block and then put it on a large belt sander to shine up the high spots.
Bob, you are going to love that split down the center, makes life a lot easier.

Dave, that's the best $50 I ever spent. I had it done a year ago at a local shop and it makes life much easier. That and the multi-piece headers make a Indy headed big block a-body easier to deal with.
