Hey gang,

I am in the midst of selling our 1967 300 with 70k miles. I had a potential buyer question the chrome valve covers. My understanding was that all 1967 440 high output (aka 375hp) engines wore HP maniflds, chrome valve covers and a dual snorkel air cleaner. I am incorrect on this? Perhaps only b bodies got the chrome valve covers?

All c bodies with the L code got them. Original covers from a '67 Fury

I had a pretty original 1968 300.with the TNT 440.
And the valve covers on it were engine color. But had the dual snorkel air cleaner

That's because it was a 1968. Gone on B& C bodies in 68

I know the '66 TNT in the New Yorker was 365 HP, did they up it in '67?

Yes, 67 is much different: 750 AFB, better intake and HP exhaust manifolds, larger head pipes, different cam, 1.74 exhaust valves in 915 heads.
