Wondering if anyone has had any problems using stock port Indy EZ heads with 67 440HP exhaust manifolds, or other year HP manifolds for that matter. I did a mock up and looks like number 6 and 8 might be tight to fit a plug wire on because of the angle plugs. My concern is getting wires to work with this set up. Thanks.

Don't those manifolds defeat the purpose of using an aftermarket aluminum head.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

Don't those manifolds defeat the purpose of using an aftermarket aluminum head. I don’t think the problem is necessarily “aftermarket aluminum heads” and ex manifolds, but I don’t think larger runner volumes along with ex manifolds are going to be the hot ticket. The 84cc E street heads have straight plugs(no manifold issues), and the smaller runners are probably going to be better 90% of the time.
