ask everyone with new trucks I think they bin hydraulic rollers for years!!!
That's what I though, but I seem to remember a few posts that stated the after market rollers where not very reliable and needed rebuilding or replacement after very few miles. After reading all the horror stories concerning flat tappet cams, I would like to go with a hydraulic roller cam in my Hemi. But was holding off until I could get more information concerning their pros and cons.

The posts I read mentioned the need to rebuild the roller rather than the hydraulic part of the lifter. The reason I was considering a hydraulic roller was because of all the problems reported concerning flattened lobes on flat tappet cams. I am not looking forward to a engine full of cam & lifter particles.
Thats certainly an option, but if your not running real high lifts/heavy spring pressures then flat tappets can survive just fine--just pick your oil with a little thought and no problem. Lots of options regarding the oil IF you look.
