That could have been way worse that it was.

Nice launch but looks like something broke? I couldn't tell if the front suspension broke when he came down or did something in the rear break? A lot of sparks from the rear axle when he is sliding sideways so maybe something in the rear broke.

Those cars are really wicked to watch run. Super fast for how big they are and they all seem to launch perfect. Guess the folks building new cars these days know how to screw together a chassis. Not like the older cars which often look like a pretzel during launch.

Word has it the left rear tire went when the car came down, but don't quote me on that. shruggy

Yeah it looked like something went on the left side of the car. I thought it might be the left front tire or left front suspension but the sparks from the rear during the slide made me think that the left rear tire went flat and the car was sliding on the rim. Maybe the tire spun on the rim and went flat?

looked to me ..

He got way out of the groove and when it slid sideways, it ruined the tire ,went flat, hence the sparks

Think they were really trying to get after the launch looking for that 7 sec run. Normally the drag pak cars are pretty tame off the line...
