I want to clean up all my door glass before it gets installed. What kind of compound can i use without doing any damage to the glass. I have a polisher and used some regular wax but can still see water spots. Can i use anything a little more aggresive without doing any damage? Thanks for any advise.

i used rubbing alk, then use rain X , on one of my cars windsheild is old and has same spots you talk of, i don't think they are water spots, i think at some point a vehical in front of it was dripping something that etched the window to look like spots.

Eastwood has a pumice-based polishing kit that removes stubborn water stains.
