Has anyone bought anything from this company lately, are they legit? They have SPAL dual fan setups for an almost to good to be true price compared to Summit/Jegs. I have seen some posts from others that bought from them but nothing recent.

For example: SPAL 2052 dual 11 inch fan:
$310 at Summit. https://proshop.summitracing.com/parts/spu-ix-30102052/overview/

Fan-Man site lists it at $203 (+ 25 for shipping). https://the-fan-man.com/product/11-dual-spal-electric-fan-s2052/

Common sense tells me to beware but the little cheap guy in me can't resist.

Thanks,

Steve

Most complaints for over heating on here are from cars that have an electric fan set up. That being said, the two fans are the exact same fan between Summit and the other place. So, if I wanted some chinese stuff, I'd go with the cheaper one.

Well they do say they are on sale and that they are a Spal dealer. They also say they are a family business, open for over forty years. They say they have a blue chip list of customers:

"Mattson’s Inc. is proud of the quality work we have done for many different speciality shops, including: Chrisman’s C.A.R.S, Roy Brisio Street Rods, Barry White’s Street Rod Repair, Moal Inc., and So-Cal Speed Shop."

So I would say buy with something that has purchase protection and let us know how it turns out.

i'm not a fan [pun intended !] of aftermarket fan setups. instead, i prefer OEM fans run of of a relay system for proper air flow and reliability. just me, your results may vary.

Thanks for all the input. I called Summit and they price matched. Gotta love Summit, saved over 100 bucks.

I did give a lot of thought to the OEM (ford contour) fan but this SPAL fit better and I have always heard good things about SPAL.
