I found out today that Auto Rust Technicians is discontinuing Mopar parts effective 8.1.2018.

I was thinking they'd be where I'd get the frame caps to deal w/ some rust issues w/ my '73 Challenger. If I don't buy from them before they stop Mopar parts, who would be another source?

Frame caps are a cheap way out, and not that structurally sound for a permanent repair IMHO, with everything that's available from AMD, Goodmark, Sherman, etc, etc, in the way of frame rails, crossmembers, do yourself a favor, fix the car the correct way...

Their product is crap anyways. You can fabricate a better product out of Junior High metal shop.

Nope dont be worried, the parts are very crude looking.

back when these cars were drivers, a buddy and i "capped" many a rail [front & rear] and t-bar crossmembers. used basic 1/8" plate cut to a cardboard pattern with a torch, freehand. that worked great structurally, but wasn't meant to be restoration correct. if other than a beater, do it correctly once. you will be happier in the long run.

I bought torque boxes and subframe connectors from them, they didn't even fit. Forget them.

I remember they would bring to the Mopar Nats a rusty car on a rotisory showing the different caps
