I put my original light harness back in my '72 Challenger after being off road and in pieces for 7 years. When I flick the switch for the headlights only my passenger side marker light comes on. When I turn on the flashers both markers come on. Where should I start to track down this issue. Thanks for any help guy's! Scott

do your tail lights and rear markers work ? i would start where the front light harness plugs into whatever comes from the bulkhead connection. at that plug, turn on park lights and check with your multi-meter for function, then turn on headlights and recheck. if that works as is supposed to, you then need to concentrate on the forward part of the harness for broken, corroded wires or sockets, etc. also, make sure all your ground wires are good, and connected to paint free areas. grounds can play havoc with a system, and i even get bit with those !

do your tail lights and rear markers work ? Yes they do, I replaced that harness! I'll check the areas you mentioned!

Good advice here. If you’ve painted your car and resurfaced parts or bought repops, grounding surfaces can be almost non existent. The front blinkers ground through the socket to the housing and through the screws that fasten the housing to the valence panel. I added separate grounds to most of my light circuits to kill the issues. Also a use dialectic grease in all my crimp connections, bulb sockets and fittings/terminals.
I’m listening.
