I have the factory hood on my 69 Roadrunner and a 440 Six Pack under it with no clearance issues.

My dad's '69 road runner has a 440-6 w/ a stock steel hood. Fits fine even w/ Vintage Air AC. Pic below is the only one I have of it on this computer.

Now that I know the steel hood will work, I will be installing this weekend, I do not expect any issues, but if there are some left or right spacing issues how do you adjust this ? forward and up and down Hight
are easy. not sure about left or right

Thanks Tom C.

The 440+6 air cleaner base plates are lower profile to make up for the added deck height of the RB engine. As long as you don’t have a 383 baseplate you should be golden.

I’m listening.
