65 Barracuda, 318 .030 over bored, balanced, KB167 pistons, block decked to 0, ported 302s with 1.88 intakes and 1.66 exhaust, 340 like cam, Doug's 450 headers, LD4b intake, 650 CFM edelbrock (double pumper being rebuilt), 4 spd, 3.73 rear end.
I'm dropping the engine in a week to replace the Kmember - we've got an original 65 flywheel and 9 1/2 " scalloped pressure plate and 65 bell housing, should I install a 10.5 inch clutch while the engine is out? I've got a spare original flywheel and 3 finger pressure plate as back up but wondering since it's all going to be on a dolly this would be the time to upgrade. what do I need to swap other than the flywheel, clutch disc and pressure plate? would I need a different bellhousing? This car hasn't been on the road yet but I'm thinking that it's got enough torque that the smaller clutch disc won't last long.

Tough, question. I didn't, but at the time there wasn't much out there as far as after market. But, Brewers can help you with stuff to do this. I would just for ease of buying parts. I never have found a dust cover for the little bell housing. I managed to get a 10 in clutch in mine, but still if I could do it over.............

that is one nice looking Valiant. what headers are you running? I did have to cut off the projections on both sides of the bellhousing to get the Doug's 450s to fit. everything is pretty tight in there. I cannot imagine shoe horning a BB in....
