Hey are any of you guys having a ware problem with the w5s offset intake rockers, I run the mopar blue 1.5s and with a mid sized solid roller 260@.050 with .630 lift with 245 on the seat and 700 open and have lost .020 in rocker ware , it seams every season I have to re shim side clearance , also its a pain adjusting the exhaust valve< intake pushing on exhaust rocker> is this normal ware ? is anyone running a thin shim inbetween rockers to make up for ware? thanks Craig

No the push rods have enough room , we had to grind for clearence , we cut the deck down some and run a fairly tall solid lifter so the angle is kinda funky, there is a lot of side load @ peek lift on intake ,hell there is a fair amount of side load when the intake is just off the seat ,gota shove feelers in reel hard adjusting exhaust lash , what kind of spring press are you running? Does anyone run offset lifters ? <thanks Mr P , I thought I spelled wear wrong> any other ideas?

.030" per pair of rockers seems to work fine.

shim to get .030"? so if there were all evenly spaced out that would be .010" to the left of one, .010" in between them and .010" to the right of the other, correct?
i never measured mine but it was always on my mind

We are way over .030 more like .080 , maybe thats the problem , when the load comes off the intake rocker it relaxes then slams back up to the exhaust when opening, I will tighten them up and see , when I first set up the rockers I did not check side to side but it seemed a lot tighter and everything was centered up on the valves , now the intake is.020 off center , I will shim the .020 back to center with a shim in betwen rockers , also we run lash caps so its not that noticable when the roller tips are not exactly centered, thanks again for the info, you guys are a lot of help / Craig
