Griner has been out of the Torqueflite biz for sometime I understand. Kevin (727Specialist) worked with Griner too iirc His name is Keith from 727 Specialist.

I have been in contact with Keith. The only Griners he has go into his transmissions. Hotch has 2 left but are spoken for. More than likely will get an A&A. Does ATI make their own valve body for 727? Cant help but ask when you yourself said the car was built to be 99% street driven why you are so concerned about a trans brake? That said, i used to have a Griner brake on my blue Duster. I took out a thrust while it was in the car. The guy i sold the car to told me his tranny guy stated the very high line pressure that brake likes was the cause of taking out the thrust bearing. I dont have enough knowledge to know, just relaying what i heard. Know a lot of guys using the A&A brake, certainly think its a good unit, love how mine shifts. Wont be using the brake function just yet. Btw, i saw ZERO difference in ET’s or 60 foots with the blue car off the foot or the brake. If i had a predominately street car, doubt i would bother with a brake. Very little benefit unless pro tree racing or bracket racing aid perhaps. But they can brake stuff

I have never said i wanted a brake. Again, what i'm looking for is a Griner RMVB no brake. I had an A&A brake with the small block. Tired of pushing the button to back up. put a toggle switch on it to activate reverse that's what I am going to do with my Cope pro brake VB to help maneuver around the pit's, I know someone on the board here has a schematic for wiring it in.
Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

I put my button on a stretch cord and just let it lay on the floor. To back the car up i just pick it up and place it wherever i want it to facilitate backing up. Makes it super easy. Can hold cord on the wheel or wherever i want it, to make backing up comfortable.
