Question I ordered the kit from Hughes for the cam snout adaptor but I guess I still need moly coated eccentric for it as well? I’m looking to run a mechanical fuel pump and have a v belt set up

I think you can use a stock eccentric, not like you need moly on it.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

I use the Hughes adaptor and a stock eccentric. on a Hughes whiplash roller cam for a magnum in a LA engine. stock LA t cover and fuel pump.

bolts right on no issues. the Teflon coating one is to reduce friction & wear on a race app.
