I found a complete, unknown mile 5.7 out of a 300C, beware Newbe questions coming...what are the particulars of this engine, I would like to use it for acstreet/ strip build to go in my 67 Dart, does this have useable heads? Any other specifics that I should know...it is complete less harness and computer, etc...guy wants 1000 for it, came out of a running car. Thanks in advance

My goal would be to build a 600ish hp engine with a 150-250 nitrous shot on demand as necessary so I would definitely be disassembling as upgrading as required.

For your goals I would be looking at a known good block first, since you will probably not be using the majority of the internal parts.
$ 1,000 seems steep to throw the most of it away. Good info, thanks, that's kinda what I was afraid of, I didn't know if the heads, block and crank would be usable in my application.
