Have you looked at the hypertech or Diablo sport or any of the other aftermarket tuners?

Do not think so as of yet, wondering if someone can reflash stock computer or has a tune for it.

If it is a 3 connector PCM you can get tuners for them and even custom tunes. Check out Hughes Engines or Hotwire Auto.

At a flea market several years ago I bought a Superchips MicroTuner for $25 but on the back it only lists 1998-2001 3.9v6/5.2V8/5.9V8 and also 2003 5.7 V8. Apparently the 1996-1997 are not covered.

I have a 1995 OBD-I Mopar Performance PCM that gives a noticeable torque boost at lower RPMs but does not really leap tall buildings in a single bound. It runs best on Premium Sunoco 96 AKI and will ping in summer on 92 AKI Premium.

Check out Flyin Ryan. https://www.frptuning.com/
I've heard good things about him, but don't have any personal experience with his work (yet).
