Anybody use the STL trigger brake release. Seems like it would be quicker and more consistent. Just pulling the trigger finger?

Never heard of it before. The price? It had better be constant. My buddy uses a rocker switch, Just has his thumb on it , slight pressure trips the switch. Last week he made three test runs, .007, .002 .003 reaction times running 8.80's 1/4 mile times, not bad for a 77 year old.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

Is that an assault trigger?

haha

I think Keith Richards and Mopar_Rich both tried them at one time or another. Don't know how long that lasted? shruggy Maybe one of them will add their .02... What's the motivation here? More consistent reaction times? The trick here is to get as consistent as YOU can be with whatever you are using for a "trigger" and adjust the car from there. As dumb as this sounds, if you are wearing safety gear in the car you should practice while you are wearing the gear. The Biondo delay boxes are great for their big screens and built in practice functions!

I haven't been to the track yet. Currently have the switch on the steering wheel. Which is where I had it in my last car. Didn't care for it there. And am looking for something to compensate for my age- 75 in June. Good one adobedude, I hope it won't assault anyone, especially me. I like the rocker idea. Dave Hall, if you know Keith Richards would you tell him hello for me? I built and sold him the Challenger he is racing. He has made a lot of improvements on it. All it needed was a good driver.

I have my Adjustable switch , mounted on my dash .. it extends out about even with my steering wheel .

Works great there

I assume you are running a delay box.. just
get a switch thats comfortable and reset the
delay box.. a switch is just a switch(ON and OFF)

One of my buddies took apart a .22 pistol and uses the handle and trigger mechanism to activate and launch. He wins a lot of rounds including Duckys no box race at kilkare last year. He keeps a towel over it 99% of the time.

Haven't seen him in awhile but will tell him hello! Hope I can still race at your age. The desire is there. It's the budget that is the problem!
